Summer is coming!

When I think of summer I think of fresh local strawberries, roasted corn on the cob, sweet ripe tomatoes, and juice-runs-down-your-face-when-you-bite-'em peaches. This summer the Creswell Library is making it easier for you to buy fresh local produce. Starting June 24, and continuing through the summer, the Library will sponsor a Farmers' Market from 4-7pm each Tuesday. Join us each week for a fun community gathering. Vendors are currently being accepted (local produce, farm products, garden art, etc.) Call the library (895-3053) for more information.

Children's/Teens' Programs:

Did you know that we have a new weekly Storytime & More that meets every Tuesday evening at 6:00pm? Join Esther for stories, songs, crafts, and snacks! (Birth-5 years old). The other Storytime & More group continues to meet on Thursday mornings at 10:00am.

READ with Sugar. Bring your reluctant (or avid) reader to spend time with beautiful Sugar, a specially trained Rottweiler. Sugar loves to have kids read to her! Sugar's next visit is Saturday, June 21 at 10:00am.

Check out the Summer Reading Program! Kick-off is June 17, 1pm at the Community Center with Slightly Illusional.

For Grown-ups:

Coffee & Books is a flexible, friendly group of book lovers who get together weekly (Tuesdays at 10:00am) to talk about what each person is reading that week. You're welcome to come every week, or just when it's convenient for you.

Interested in genealogy? We have a Genealogy Group that meets at the Library the first Wednesday of each month, at 10:00. The next meeting will be Wednesday, July 2.

See you at the library!
